FAQ
1. When to use epoxy and when to use PU?
Epoxy is to be used where protection of the substrate from harsh environments such as corrosive, acidic, alkaline, chemical etc is required.PU is to be used to where the aesthetic life of the product is to be maintained as PU provides excellent weatherability and degradation against sunlight.
2. Advantages of stoving paints
Higher productivity compared to epoxy and PU as the coating hard dries after the stoving schedule and can be handled/processed immediately.
3. Why use Quick Dry or Rapid drying paints
Certain industries such as auto oems demand Just-in-time supply. In these cases it is imperative to supply painted products with minimum turn around times and high operational flexibility. At the same time, if these products are too big to heat, stoving paints can't be used and that's when QD or Rapid dry paints find extensive use.
