Epoxy is without question the most widely used coating in the industry for anti-corrosion protection. epoxy coatings are generally packaged in two parts that are mixed prior to application. the two parts consist of 1) an epoxy resin which is cross-linked with 2) a co-reactant or hardener. epoxy  are formulated based upon the performance requirements for the end product. when properly catalyzed and applied, epoxies produce a hard, chemical, and solvent-resistant finish. they are typically used on concrete and steel to give resistance to water, alkali, and acids

Epoxy Flooring

Solvent-free self-leveling epoxy floor coatings for industrial, warehouse, car parks, and other flooring applications. These come in 1 mm - 3mm thickness, as per customer and environment demands. Pearl Coating also provides services for applications of floor coatings

Structural Anti corrosive Epoxy

These can be designed in 1k, 2k, and Direct-To-Metal (DTM), grades as per the production line requirements of the customer. 1k epoxy coatings give a rapid dry finish but at the compromise of toughness and mechanical resistance that is provided by 2k epoxy coatings.  

Chemical Resistant Epoxy

Specially developed for use in the agricultural, earthmoving, and construction sectors. These coatings produce extremely resilient and tough films that can withstand the most corrosive environments. It also serves as a preceding layer for the oncoming polyurethane top coat.

Zinc Rich Primer & High Build Epoxy

Designed for use on containers and process vessels where the external environment can reach C-4/C-5 Environment. The thickness of such coatings can go beyond 1mm. Zinc-rich primers can contain up to 90% zinc, which gives a very high degree of corrosion repentance. High build epoxy content MIO and/or glass flakes which provide extreme mechanical toughness and corrosion resistance.

1. When to use epoxy and when to use PU?

Epoxy is to be used where protection of the substrate from harsh environments such as corrosive, acidic, alkaline, chemical etc is required.PU is to be used to where the aesthetic life of the product is to be maintained as PU provides excellent weatherability and degradation against sunlight.

2. What is the range of SST that we can give with our product lines?

We have rapid dry products(drying within 20 mins) that give an SST of upto 300 hours as well as epoxy based chemistries proven to withstand 2000 hrs SST as per ASTM B 117.
